ABOLITIONIST ALTERNATIVES TO SCHOOL EXCLUSIONS

This booklet details current reforms suggested by schools and the Department for Education, comparing punitive strategies (which reinforce structural problems) with abolitionist ones (which lead to liberatory education and support students to flourish).
The project took 3 years of collaborative imagination work across a vast community. I designed the project findings and plain text, into an accessible format conveying the heart of the project, and was particularly excited to illustrate all of the incredible people involved.
